MomMart!

Summer time around MommyHahaville is filled with swimming in the pool, going to the beach, and trips to the water park. Its also filled with quite a bit of down time in the air conditioning. We live in Florida, and it is unbearably hot in the summer. We need fun activities to do indoors, while we are taking a break from all our fun water adventures.

Mixbook.com {Review}

Written by Tara, Posted in Family, Product Review

I recently had the chance to try out Mixbook.com by creating a Softcover 8 x 6 pocket photo book. I am so very behind in all things scrapbook related, that I wasn't even quite sure where to begin! I decided to create a book about our family that we can send over to our little one once we get a match for our adoption.

Prefense Hand Sanitizer {Review + Giveaway} CLOSED

washinghandsThose of you who know me, know that I am not a big hand sanitizer person. In fact, I get annoyed when people try to force my kids to use hand sanitizer when there are perfectly good sinks with soap and clean water available for hand washing. My reasoning is two fold. One - I don't think we should try to constantly eliminate all bacteria, as our bodies have immune systems for a reason. And more so number two - I hate the toxic ingredients in most hand sanitizers.

GlassesUSA.com {Review}

GlassesUSA Static Logo_Blue BackGround_Lg

It took about 3 days of wearing my broken glasses (that were fashionably fixed up with electrical tape) to realize that I had not stumbled upon a long term solution. I needed new glasses.

It only took about 30 seconds to realize that I did not feel like forking out a couple hundred bucks for a new pair.

Space Race {Review + Giveaway} CLOSED

If you have a little space lover, like Big E, you should check out the new animated web series, Space Race.  It's an action packed series that focuses on racing, space travel and space education. Big E and I have spent a ton of time exploring Space Race together. The characters are reminiscent of Cars characters, only they fly through space! It's a lot of fun, and it provides a ton of great information about space as well.

Tropical Traditions Organic Virgin Coconut Oil {Review + Giveaway}

Written by Tara, Posted in Giveaway, Green Living, Product Review

Tropical Traditions recently offered to send me their Gold Label Organic Virgin Coconut Oil  to review.  Our family already loves coconut oil, but we've never tried Tropical Traditions.  I was excited to give it a try, and I have to say, I don't think I'll ever buy another brand again!

A couple weeks ago, BabyBond sent me my choice of their nursing covers to review.  I chose the Flex in Night (black).  The 100% cotton BabyBond has an attached loop to insert the included double layer terry velour burp cloth.  The BabyBond and burp cloth roll up to fit inside the small matching bag.
