Top Ten First World Problems

A Part of Top Ten Tuesday

#firstworldproblems. I've got them, and you've probably got them too. You know, those things that are seem like "problems," but actually aren't really that big of a deal. And in reality, they just illuminate how blessed most of us really are.

If you haven't watched this video yet, then you need to. It's brilliant.

I asked for ya'll to chime in with some of your #firstworldproblems:

@oohamanda (you know, the mastermind behind this whole Top Ten Tuesday business?) replied with one that most of us moms can relate to.

Amen sister. I feel ya on those.

So here we go...

Top Ten First World Problems this week

This is a team effort from the whole family, since apparently we are all spoiled brats together. Lately we've been all about calling out ourselves and each other when we give voice to any of these #firstworldproblems.

  1. One of the blogs I really like to read has such a huge blog header that I can't see if there's a new post without scrolling down a little bit.
  2. I kept trying to text "floatie" to my friend and my phone absolutely wouldn't let me. It insisted I meant "Flossie."
  3. Our car is SO hot that it made my knees sweaty.
  4. We rented Memento from Netflix, and it was scratched half way through, so we had to download it off iTunes.
  5. Big E was very bothered that it took a whole hour to drive to the water park. He felt it would be better for us to take a plane.
  6. We were so full after eating at Qdoba, we thought we might throw up.
  7. Netflix doubled their prices, and now we have to decide if we want to choose streaming or DVDs.
  8. Every time I type "icefilms" on my iPad, it tries to autocorrect it to "ice films" and I have to press the little x to ensure that doesn't happen.
  9. I didn't have enough re-usable bags for all the groceries I bought.
  10. I feel cold at night if I set the thermostat at 74, but hot if I set it at 75.

What about you?
